I love it when the thunder roars overhead and people salubriously cluster under whatever shelter they can find, when the thrill of running in the rain makes you scorn their petty fear and your shoes fill with rainwater as you race on.

I ran all the way to the bus stop and fully expected an insanely long line to be waiting there. Strangely enough, when it came, it was completely empty. Sitting on the bottom floor of that bus, watching the rain peter down over the city, was the most calming experience I've had in a long time.

Wan chai is awesome at night.

I took this yesterday night on my crappy phone camera while crossing the foot bridge between the arts centre and strip clubs. I love this place to bits, it's really nice during the day too. It was raining, so the reflection of the car lights on the road was freaking nuts.

As to why I was near the strip clubs at 7:30, I was meeting a friend at The Flying Pan. Unfortunately, I'm not as badass as I like to seem, but I understand if you're disappointed.

I was getting weird stares from a gweilo tourist couple, who were doing exactly the same thing not too far away. Don't hypocrites annoy you?
